Excellence in terms of environmental management and occupational health and safety
Tekniker extends its management system with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards
The technology centre has met the requirements of both standards that certify the suitability of its management system and commitment with regard to environmental sustainability and occupational safety and health.

It is in this context that, Tekniker, a member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA), has incorporated to its current quality (9001), R&D&I (166002) testing and calibration (17025) certifications another two new standards addressing occupational health and safety (ISO 45001:2018) and environmental management (ISO 14001:2015). The centre has become the first organisation of the Basque Network to incorporate the aforementioned certifications.
The development of management systems addressing occupational safety and health and environmental management is the end result of a commitment focused on the centre’s sustainability model whether it be economic, social or environmental. It is also the product of all the work done by Tekniker staff in recent years with the counselling and collaboration of Sonder Consulting.
Subsequent to the audits carried out at the end of 2020, Tekniker recently received the certifications issued by SGS, the external accredited body.
