European Conference on nanofilms 2016
The fourth edition of ENCF 2016, the European Conference on Nanofilms, will take place from October 19-21 at the Bizkaia Aretoa UPV/EHU in Bilbao.
This event, jointly organised by the IK4-TEKNIKER technology centre and the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), will feature technical presentations, poster sessions and thematic panel discussions.
Listed hereunder are some of the subjects that will be addressed during the conference:
- Protective and tribological coatings
- Thin layers for the transformation of energy, catalysis and other related processes
- From molecules and nanoparticles to thin nanostructured layers
- Nanofilm properties and characterisation techniques
- New 2D materials: Synthesis, characterisation and applications
The conference will also provide a meeting point for the exchange of recent developments and trends related to coatings and nanofilms developed by using techniques such as PVD or sol-gel, among others.
