During this webinar, the characterisation of positioning errors of industrial robots and ancillary industrial elements will be discussed in terms of dynamic and static positioning. So far, systems of this kind have offered good repeatability for recurrent tasks, although new applications based on robotic manipulators now require enhanced accuracy in terms of absolute positioning.
Consequently, the ultimate goal is to make some headway with regard to geometric calibration for robots in order to enhance performance and make better use of these units without having to install any external resources.
