IK4-TEKNIKER is participating in the “Nanoscience meets Metrology” workshop run within the framework of the SETNanoMetro project
From 27 to 31 July, 2015, the SETNanoMetro European project is organising a workshop on nanoscience and metrology, “Nanoscience meets Metrology”, in the Sicilian city of Erice, Italy.
In this event, IK4-TEKNIKER will be presenting the advances made within the framework of this project in synthesising TiO2 nanoparticles with controlled properties and obtaining photocatalytic coatings, while at the same time establishing the bases to go on working in the future.
This workshop will have over 40 oral presentations organised into 6 sessions throughout the week. The main subject to be tackled is nanotechnologies applied to the energy, healthcare and environmental sectors.
About SETNanoMetro
The SETNanoMetro European project aims to bring about the shift from “trial and error" to the development of properly specified, monitored protocols for producing nanoparticles, and the subsequent establishing of methods and instrumentation for detecting, characterising and analysing them.
