Lubrication Management organised the seminar “Optimum, Reliable Transformer Operation”

Seminar on transformer maintenance and inspection

Organised by Lubrication Management – IK4-TEKNIKER, Omicron and CB System Oil, it took place in Madrid on 27 November.

Based on its experience in the maintenance and inspection of transformers, Lubrication Management – IK4-TEKNIKER organised in Madrid on 27 November and in collaboration with the companies Omicron and CB System Oil, the seminar on “Optimum Reliable, Transformer Operation”.

The aim of the seminar was to transmit valuable information so that the right decisions can be made during the maintenance and inspection of transformers, and so that work can thus be carried out in conditions of maximum reliability.

The transformer is the piece of equipment that accounts for the biggest investment in an electrical installation, and the huge indirect costs that an unscheduled shutdown in the service may entail make it necessary to ensure that the transformer functions within an acceptable reliability regime by introducing predictive maintenance through the diagnosis of the state of the transformer.

During the seminar the following were among the questions addressed: What measures can be taken to ensure that the transformer works as reliably as possible? When should these measures be taken? When can electrical tests be carried out?

The seminar was attended by maintenance and operations professionals, by the energy distribution and generation sectors, and by companies like Repsol and Shell España, among others.
