IK4-TEKNIKER is participating in the PHME14 conference

IK4-TEKNIKER’s Intelligent Information Systems Unit is set to participate for the second year running in the PHME European conference –The 2nd European Conference of the Prognostics and Health Management Society–, in which it will be presenting the paper entitled "Motor current signature analysis for gearbox health monitoring: experiment, signal analysis and classification".

The paper deals with the use of internal signals of industrial machinery (in the aeronautical and machine-tool sectors, for example) to monitor the "state of health" of gearboxes, based on the results obtained on the GPS (Gear Prognosys Simulator) test bench.

The conference, scheduled to be held in Nantes (France) from 8 to 10 July 2014, is being organised by the PHM Society in collaboration with the “7th European Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring”. It will be gathering together experts in the industrial sector –energy, aerospace, transport, automotive and industrial automation sectors, among others– as well as scientists and researchers from different countries who will be presenting and sharing their most recent contributions and questions relating to the field of structural engineering.
