Lubrication Management is running a seminar on Preventive Maintenance in wind turbines

Owing to its long trajectory and experience in the industrial sector, and in wind energy in particular, Lubrication Management – IK4-TEKNIKER is organising, in collaboration with SKF, an informative seminar on “Predictive Maintenance in Wind Turbines" scheduled to be held on 4 November, 2014, on the premises of the SKF in Alcobendas, (Madrid).

The seminar will be tackling the latest solutions on the market for managing lubrication and data processing for the purposes of decision taking, including subjects like lubrication management in wind turbines, taking of grease samples in rotor bearings, optimisation through automatic lubrication and data management on the basis of early faults, among others.

The following papers will be delivered during the seminar:

“Representative sample taking of grease from wind turbine bearings in accordance with the ASTM-7718/11 standard”. Jesús Terradillos, IK4-TEKNIKER.

“Optimising maintenance through automatic lubrication”. Mariano Antón, SKF.

“Monitoring bearing condition through grease analysis”. Jesús Terradillos, IK4-TEKNIKER.

“Lubrication condition by means of acoustic emission technology". Francisco Voyer, SKF.

“Data analysis and processing for the early detection of faults in step-up gears or multipliers". Jorge Alarcon, IK4-TEKNIKER.

Who is it geared towards?

The seminar is geared towards wind energy producers, owners and promoters of wind farms, service companies handling wind farm operation and maintenance.
