IK4-TEKNIKER is participating in the 28^th BIEMH (Machine-Tool Biennial)

IK4-TEKNIKER, associated with machine tools for many years and an expert in this sector, will be present as an exhibitor at the forthcoming 28^th edition of the Machine Tool Biennial, (2-7 June 2014 at the BEC -Bilbao Exhibition Centre-) to showcase some of the technologies it is working on.

IK4-TEKNIKER’s stand will be located in pavilion no 1, devoted to Removal, Metrology, CAD/CAM/CAE between aisles C06 and D05, and will have a space of 260 m² shared with IK4-IDEKO, a strategic partner in the IK4 R&D Alliance.

The visitors to the stand will be able to find out first-hand about IK4-TEKNIKER’s activity in the machine-tool sector through demonstrators, like those of MT and CMM verification and volumetric compensation, industrial and service robotics, and mobile machine-tool prototypes.

Technical symposia

While this event is ongoing, IK4-TEKNIKER will be actively participating in the technical symposia being organised for the first time by the BIEMH in collaboration with the main associations and companies to analyse the current affairs in the machine-tool sector. The conference programme will be focussing on three subjects: “The future of composite manufacturing”, “The vision of additive manufacturing” and “Photonics applied to machine tools”.
