MT and CMM verification and volumetric compensation for the aerospace sector

IK4-TEKNIKER is organising a seminar, which is free of charge, on "MT and CMM verification and volumetric compensation" scheduled to take place on 28 April, 2015 at the facilities of IK4-TEKNIKER in Eibar, Gipuzkoa (Basque Country).

The aim of the seminar is to report on the new dimensional verification technologies that address the demands of machine tools (MT) as well as coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to guarantee and maintain their precision levels over time.

The seminar will tackle concepts relating to machinery verification: precision; speed (reducing machine downtimes); specifying errors in position, straightness, angularity and orthogonality; volumetric compensation; automatic verification of 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines, etc.

A practical case dealing with verification and volumetric compensation of a machine tool will also be covered.

The seminar is geared towards quality and maintenance heads and technicians in the aerospace sector.
