The R&D centre presented the developments made within the framework of the European project “Traceable in-process dimensional measurements”.
IK4-TEKNIKER participated in the 11th edition of METROMEET 2015, the international conference on industrial dimensional metrology, held at the Euskalduna Conference Centre (Bilbao) on 17 and 18 March 2015.
The conference covered advances relating to the latest technologies and the improvements existing in the sector; a forum was set up to discuss metrology and its development in industry.
The subjects raised included new digital and optical developments, nano- and micrometrology, new methods of working to improve industrial processes and productivity.
Specifically, IK4-TEKNIKER’s Mechanical Engineering Unit presented the developments carried out within the European project “Traceable in-process dimensional measurements” which deals with the problems in the measurements made in machine tools.
