Lubrication, Maintenance and Tribotechnology

The Jost Institute for Tribotechnology in collaboration with IK4-TEKNIKER is organising the 4^th edition of the LUBMAT 2014 Conference.

Manchester (United Kingdom) is set to host the fourth edition of the LUBMAT conference scheduled from 25 to 27 June 2014.

This conference, being organised by the Jost Institute for Tribotechnology in collaboration with IK4-TEKNIKER and which in 2012 brought together over 200 scientists and experts from the industrial sector, is seeking to spread knowledge on subjects relating to industrial lubrication technologies; papers will be given by experts in the manufacture and use of lubricants.

The various technical presentations and lectures will be dealing with subjects like:

• Lubrication Management
• Tribology
• Lubricants and Additives
• Special fluids
• Efficient maintenance and operation
• Dependability and Sustainability

LUBMAT 2014 will also be devoting special attention to subjects relating to "Energy Systems", which include maintenance, lubrication and tribology in the design and functioning of the components in power generation systems and transmissions through a broad range of energy applications, including: wind energy, offshore and power station systems, nuclear energy production, stationary engines, tidal energy systems, solar energy capture, internal combustion engines, gas turbines and hydraulic energy systems, among others.
