The course will be setting out to transfer the essentials for effectively managing the calibration systems of company measuring equipment.
Today, companies have implemented calibration systems of their measuring equipment, but the management of this activity is not always conducted effectively when concepts like tolerance, accuracy, precision, uncertainty, acceptance criteria, etc., are not properly interpreted.
To meet growing demands for quality, it is necessary to check that these products fulfil the required specifications, which is why measuring equipment and processes are an essential tool when carrying out these checks.
As a result of this need of companies, IK4-TEKNIKER’s Metrology Unit is running a course on “Calibration and Management of Measuring Equipment” on 26 November 2013; the course sets out to update and clarify various concepts so that all company equipment and processes can be effectively managed.
The course is also geared towards the needs arising out of the introduction of the following standards: UNE-EN ISO-9000.
